Here is a group of young minds, energetic bodies, creating a new story everyday with an idea! And this time, the members of TEDx Chandigarh have not only planned but executed an idea that has made them the talk of the town. With the successful execution of TEDx event at the Mohali campus where world class speakers shared their experiences and their endeavours with the audience, the members have a moment to sit to back and pat their backs. 

With Pritika Mehta and Simarpreet Singh, the curators of the Chandigarh chapter along with other members, Deepika Nanda, Gunjan Toora, Gurleen Kaur, Rahul Prasad, a total of 30 other youngsters all from Chandigarh, coming from various fields, engineering, commerce have brought together their own experiences and converted into one story called the TEDx Chandigarh. “Dreams have the power to move the human race forward. However, the manifestation of dreams requires more than just dreaming. Our theme 'Dream | Ideate | Create' will explore the process of creative creation and achievement,” shares Gurleen Kaur. 

The entire team worked on this event for over six months relentlessly, taking care of every detail. 

In their first edition of TEDx Chandigarh, brought in feature creative thinkers, thought leaders, artists, scientists, innovators, change makers and the extraordinary individuals who enlightened, united and provoked the audience. “This was TEDx’s first event in Chandigarh ever. We had invited speakers from India as well as abroad to share their unique ideas. We would be doing so in the near future as well,” she adds.
