Besides the fee, parents will also have to pay a little more to keep a track of their child’s activity in and out of school.

Shilpa Mahna Bhatnagar, CEO and co-founder of Gurgaon-based company that offers tracking system, said the device would be installed in the identity card of the child and with the help of an app, parents could easily track the child’s movement.

“For the safety and security, the company has come up with real-time tracking of a child. With the help of an app, parents can track their children in real time and their every movement,” said Shilpa.

She said after metro city schools, tier-II and tier-III city schools are also ready to adopt such solutions provided by technology companies. In Ludhiana, schools like Euro Kids have tied up with the company for children’s security.

“Now, schools understand the need of better technology for safety as parents are keen to know how their child will be safe in school,” said Shilpa

She said besides school, the tracking device will be of great help for parents to track children, while they travel back home.

“It is a child-security solution that provides real-time location alerts through GPS tracking, location log and auto attendance from inside the building premises of the school to the parent app,” Shilpa said

“Running a play way is a tough job. Once the child leaves the house his/ her safety becomes our responsibility. Inside there are many security arrangements.
