Commendation Card conferred on Acharya

Lt Gen KJ Singh, GOC-in-C, Western Command, conferred a Commendation Card on Shib Narayan Acharya, Photographic Officer in the Public Relations Office, Ministry of Defence, for his professional work rendered to the Army, on the 66th Republic Day.
The officer, who had won a national award for projecting the Army’s Green Initiative at the Siachen Glacier, has been decorated with the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card, Vice-Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card, Northern Army Commander’s Commendation Card and Vice-Chief of Air Staff’s Appreciation for his outstanding contribution to the defence photojournalism, media and public relations in the counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism scenario of J&K.
