Computational Biology
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi, is inviting applications for MTech in Computational Biology (CB).
Eligibility: Candidates must a have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised institute in any of the following:
- BTech/BE in any discipline preferably in CS/IT/Math-and-Computing
- MCA, B.Pharm, MBBS
- MSc. (physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, biophysics, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences)
All general applicants must have CGPA of at least 6.5 out of 10 or 65 per cent in qualifying exam and 60 per cent in all previous degrees, including Plus II.
For SC, ST, OBC, PWD and CW category candidates, it is a must to have least 6.0 out of 10 or and must have at least 55 per cent in all previous degree including 10+2.
While valid GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET is not mandatory, applicants having any one of these will be given additional weightage. The selection process will involve written test and interview.

PGDHM programme
International Institute of Health Management Research New Delhi has announced the beginning of application process for PGDHM.
Eligibility: For Fresh Graduates: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the aggregate. The applicant should have taken any one of the Management Aptitude Tests like CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT. Candidates appearing at the final year examination of the bachelor's degree or waiting for the results of their final year degree examinations in 2017 may also apply. Selected candidates will be given provisional admission. They will be required to produce evidence of their graduation within two months of admission. The selection will be made strictly on merit basis through Management Aptitude Test.
For Working Executives: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the aggregate. Minimum of two years relevant work experience in the healthcare sector. Such candidates are exempted from written Management Aptitude Test.
Selection procedure: The eligible candidates will be invited for group discussion and interview. The final selection of the candidate is based on his/her performance in the qualifying examination with proportional score in CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT, group discussion and interview. Candidates are required to bring original documents at the time of the interview.

UK-based Staffordshire University is inviting applicants for Computer Games Design BSc (Hons) programme. Accredited by TIGA (The Independent Game Developer's Association), the games industry body, the programme enables learners to attain utmost competency to pursue a career in the games industry as 3D Artists in environment and character art or games technical designers for levels, quests and missions or narrative designer for games and even motion capture specialists. The aim is to produce a reflective and critical graduate with a global perspective.
