As many as 234 students of MBA, MCA, BTech BBA and BCA received degrees at the 14th annual convocation of the Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology today.
Rakesh Kumar Verma, Vice-Chancellor, Punjab Technical University, delivered the convocation address and presented degrees to the students who passed out in 2015. The convocation began with the lighting of a lamp followed by the Saraswati vandana.
Verma motivated the students to acquire excellence in their chosen fields and contribute to the nation building. He urged the students to explore the world in the current global scenario.
