Cultural programmes mark Kidzee function

The annual function of Shivalik Nagar-based Kidzee School was held here today. Children presented various cultural items on the occasion.
Ganesh Chaturthi, Goa Carnival, National Symbols of India and theme-based cultural presentations were highlight of the function.
Aarush Pal was adjudged master of kids and Subhansi miss kids for their overall performance in various activities. Earlier, inaugurating the school function chairperson Dr Sonal Sharma emphasized the importance of promoting overall development of the students.
She said mental and physical development of students was also of paramount importance and overall performance should also be taken into account.
Headmistress Richa Goyal said parents could play an important role in child’s moral education.
“Parents, particularly mother is first teacher of a child, who can groom him or her at an early stage. Inculcating moral values is quite important in today’s era, owing to western influence and nuclear family, children are getting deviated from morality and local culture,” said Richa. Archita Goyal, Sonali Singh, Arthav Goyal, Sunil Soni, Jitendra Rawat, Rajneesh, Geetanjali, Shalini and Neha Singh coordinated the function. Special invitee at the function radio jockey Nitin Sharma, Kidzee Global Noida chairperson Rakhi Gupta, SM Public School Principal RS Sood and social activist Yogi Rajneesh were also felicitated at the occasion.
