The government plans to start the session at CIPET in September.

Around 1,500 youth will receive training in the first year, 2,500 in the second year and 3,000 youth in the third year.

The minister said on the orders of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, out of 899 acres of land of the IDPL, 833.25 acres had been returned by the Centre to the state government. “IDPL will continue to function on the remaining land,” said the minister.

The minister also announced the sanction of 100 more Jan Aushadhi Centres.

Chief Minister TS Rawat said that the Uttarakhand government would give 200 acres of land for expansion of AIIMS (Rishikesh) from the IDPL land, while on the remaining land a convocation centre would be set up.
