Double delight for Striker’s Club

Striker’s Club teams lifted titles in the 27th Sub-Junior and Junior State Softball Championship for Boys and Girls at the PEC University of Technology in Sector 12 today.
In the girls’ (junior) category, Striker’s Club posted one score victory over the NFC Club. For the winning side, Pooja scored the winning score. In the hard line match of the same category, St Anne’s School, Sector 32, defeated Chandigarh Coaching Centre, Sector 11, 10-0. For the winning side, Srishti and Sharvi contributed two-score each while Aditi, Vrinda, Shreya, Isha, Manudhree and Garima contributed a score each.
In the final of the boys’ (junior) category, Striker’s Club defeated City Hawks 10-0. Shubham scripted his team’s win with contributing three scores while Amit and Karan chipped-in two scores each. Dablu, Pitamber and Pradeep completed a score each to complete team’s winning tally. The team of Universal Club attainted third position with defeating GMP Club, Sector 38. For the winning side, Kamal scored the winning score.
