A drawing and colouring competition for primary section was held at Olympus High School here today.
More than 50 students participated in the competition. They portrayed the monsoon through rainfall, mushrooms and umbrellas.
School coordinator Shaieleja Hazarika said, “We organise such activities to hone the capabilities of students which can otherwise subside owing to academic pressure. Expressing feeling through colours is the most joyful form of creative expression. Children also learn to develop a healthy competition spirit.”
Principal Anuradha Malla interacted with students and asked teachers to allow children to run their imaginations wild.
School director Kunal S Malla was also present on the occasion.
