Edify World students ‘Heal the World’

The Edify World School, Dehradun, celebrated its Ist Annual Day on Sunday in which Sports Minister Dinesh Agrawal was the chief guest.

Principal Kalpana Kadiyan presented the school’s annual report in which she shared with the audience the tremendous growth of 200 per cent of the school in a year. This stood testimonial to the quality education being rendered by the school, she claimed.

The children performed under the theme Heal the World and showcased the contribution of India to the world. The audience was mesmerised and left spellbound as they witnessed their children performed a Bharatnatyam-Kathak fusion, folk dances of India and a melodious rendition of Indian classical songs.

Students also demonstrated some skills in adventure sports to enthral the audience. Yoga and dance drama on Swachh Bharat were also enjoyed by everyone.

The show concluded with all participants on the stage singing the much popular theme song ‘Heal the World’ by Michael Jackson.
