Ishmeet Singh Music Institute today launched its reality show “Singing Champion 2015” at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan. Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria was the chief guest while Deputy Commissioner Rajat Aggarwal presided over. Six personalities from the film and music industry were honoured.

Rajat Aggarwal said every artist needed a platform to showcase his talent. He said with the setting up of Ishmeet Singh Music Institute, the Punjab government had already provided a platform to the artists. He appealed to music lovers to become part of events organised by Ishmeet Singh Music Institute and promote all singers there.

The show has been conceived by Dr Charan Kamal Singh, director, Ishmeet Singh Music Institute. In the show, top six singers will challenge top six champions in different genres during 18 episodes.

The title song of the institute is written and composed by Dr Charan Kamal Singh. Gurpinder Singh, father of late Ishmeet Singh, Voice of India, will be “The Grand Master” of the show.

Today, Nirmal Rishi, actor, Pawan Chopra, actor, and singer and father of Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, Sandeep Bhalla, film producer, Raj Kakra, lyricist, Tejwant Kittu, music director, and Darshan Aulakh were honoured.
