School Education Minister Arvind Pandey on Monday ordered registration of FIRs against 20 teachers who were accused of submitting fake testimonials, while seeking appointment in the department, by the SIT.

Pandey issued these orders based on the recommendations of incharge, SIT, Shweta Chaubey. The minister said that after verification of the documents of 42 teachers, the SIT has recommended registration of FIR in 20 cases, while investigation in 22 cases is going on.

Further, on the complaint of Deputy Education Officer, Bahadarabad, the minister also ordered transfer of two clerks Pawan Kumar and Manoj Chauhan. The two clerks were said to be non-cooperative in the inquiry.
