Dehradun: Ecole Globale International Girls School bade farewell to its Class XII students at a function held here on Thursday evening.
Principal Brinda Ghosh and vice-principal Sonal Rawat wished luck to the students. Keeping alive the age-old tradition, the staff tied sacred threads (moli) to the wrists of the girls, wishing them good luck for the upcoming board examination as well as their lives after school. The principal and the vice-principal performed ‘tilak’ ceremony and draped the students with shawls. School president Amarjeet Juneja encouraged the girls to work hard for exams.—TNS
