Ludhiana, April 18
The Superlative Show, a fashion and lifestyle exhibition, brought fashion and lifestyle labels from different parts of the country to the city.
Sixty designer labels from Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Amritsar and the city, exhibited their designer collection. Designer Indian wear, western wear, apart from designer wear from Pakistan and Dubai, stitched printed and embroidered fabrics, designer semi-precious, fashion jewellery, footwear, accessories and handbags were exhibited. Furniture, carpets and home décor were also on display.
There was a “photobooth” for visitors to get in the booth, pick up props of their choice and get an instant photograph. “There was a special award called “The Super Queenie” Award for the best dressed women,” said Sarleen Arneja, one of the organisers of the event.
The collection of each and every stall holder was different and was exclusively designed, be it jewellery, apparels, footwear or any lifestyle product, she said.
Many exhibitors said they were exhibiting in the city for the first time and the response was good.
“We have come with exquisite carpets,” said Arun Kumar Jain from Qaleen. “We already have our customers in Ludhiana and because of the increasing queries, we decided to come to the city. We are testing waters here to see if we can open an outlet here. The response from the people has been good,” said another designer from Delhi.
