Fayaz Bhat extends Shivratri greetings

Member of the BJP national council and district president of the Srinagar unit Fayaz Ahmad Bhat today greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri.
In a statement, he hoped that the auspicious day would usher Jammu and Kashmir state in new era of peace and development and strengthen bonds of brotherhood among the people.
Bhat also spoke on the importance of Shivratri during a function organised by Brahma Kumaris Ashram in Jammu. “Herath (Shivratri) is the important part of Kashmiriyat and denotes historical bonds of love and amity between Hindus and Muslims,” he added.
