Ferozepur Road parking lot gets electronic ticketing machines

Ludhiana, July 25

Zonal Commissioner PS Ghuman handed over electronic ticketing machines to the contractor at Ferozepur Road parking lot here today to bring transparency in the system.

Ghuman said: “We get regular complaints about fleecing visitors or commuters at parking lots. The machine was mandatory, too. Today, 16 such machines have been handed over to the contractor, which will display the time of entry of vehicle, its number, the time of leaving vehicle etc.

Since parking fee is taken on an hourly basis at Ferozepur Road, the machine will be of great help, he said.
