Finish health centre’s construction, says manch
Mussoorie, November 4
Activists of the Narendra Modi Vichar Manch have demanded speedy construction of the combined health centre (CHC) near the Civil Hospital in Mussoorie. They held a press conference here today.
The CHC construction was started around six years ago. The executive agency, Uttar Pradesh Rajya Nirman Nigam, has caused inordinate delay, much to the disgust of residents.
Manch’s state general secretary Ramesh Jaiswal said, “People are concerned over the delay as they are forced to rush to Dehradun for medical emergencies. The Uttar Pradesh Nirman Nigam has become an epicenter of corruption and the silence of the state government is also surprising, suggesting that it is in cahoots with the corrupt officials,” he said.
He demanded a punitive action against the erring officials. — TNS
