Following brother’s footsteps

Ishaan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor’s brother is reportedly going to play the role of Deepika Padukone’s younger brother in acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s English film, Floating Gardens. While he plays Dippy’s bro, big brother Shahid Kapoor plays her hubby in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Earlier there were reports of Ishan working in Karan Johar’s Indian adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars. He was also rumoured to be making his debut with none other than Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. But, nothing took off. Neelima Azmi, Ishaan’s mother in a recent interaction had mentioned, “All I can say is that I am thrilled that my second child, too, is becoming an actor.”
