Foreign sojourn

Ashnoor Kaur, who has done a lot of television shows, as a child artiste has bagged a meaty role in Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain. Ashoor will be seen as Akshara and Naitik’s ten-year-old daughter Naira, post the leap in the show. The show, which will soon complete 1,700 episodes, will be going to Cape Town for its second ‘out of India’ sequence and its second leap! The cast and crew that will be travelling to Cape Town will also be accompanied by Ashoor as well as Rohan Mehra, who is playing Naksh, her older brother, in the show along with Heena Khan (Akshara) and Karan Mehra (Naitik). Ashoor, who is going to be accompanied by her mother for the outdoor sequence, said, “I used to follow the show. I am very excited to go for a shoot sequence to Cape Town. This will be my first time. I am looking forward to start my journey as Naira.”
