Four houses in Lakshman Puri in Landour Cantonment were damaged after two huge boulders rolling down the hill fell on them here today. The boulders damaged the roof tins.

No one was present in the houses at the time of the incident. Otherwise, it could have proved fatal, said the owners of the houses.

The ill-fated houses belong to Suresh, Govind Singh Padiyar, Prem Singh and Bharat Singh. They have reported the matter to Mahesh Chandra, vice-president of the Landour Cantonment Board. Ward members Chandrakala Sayana, Ramesh Kannaujia and Badal Prakash were also informed, who reached the spot to ascertain the damage.
