Khanna, May 23
Gulzar Group of Institutes (GGI), Khanna, organised a plantation drive on its campus. Various competitions including collage making and poster-making were also organised. AK Jain, executive director, Punjab and Sind Bank, inaugurated the venture by planting a tree. He insisted on using paper bags.
Gurcharan Singh, chairman, GGI, thanked the chief guest for sharing his valuable experience with the students. Gurkirat Singh, executive director said saplings should be planted and taken care of, which would not only beautify the surroundings but also lead to a greener, more eco-friendly and pollution-free environment.
