Girl commits suicide

Ludhiana, December 19

A Class IX student, Rajani, allegedly committed suicide at Mahinder Nagar in the Daba area today. The police found a suicide note which reads: “I am not good, so I am going to commit suicide”.

Jatinder Singh, Daba SHO, said: “The girl was alone at home when she committed suicide. When her mother returned home, she found Rajani hanging from a ceiling fan”.

Rajani’s father died a few years ago. She is survived by mother and two siblings.

Meanwhile, a woman died under mysterious circumstances at Gobindgarh village here. She She was identified as Paramjit Kaur (26) of Gobindgarh. She reportedly consumed some drug, which led to her death. — TNS
