Jammu, March 13

Governor NN Vohra released the book “Aane Khane”, authored by Dr Aziz Hajini, during a function held at Raj Bhawan here today.

Dr Hajini’s 13th publication, in the Kashmiri language, comprises critical write-ups and analyses of creative literature in Kashmiri.

“Aane Khane” is considered to be a very notable new beginning of objective literary criticism with regard to Kashmiri literature.

Writer Farooq Nazki read out a review of the book before it was released. The Governor complimented Dr Hajini for his continuing outstanding contribution and wished him success in future endeavours.

Principal Secretary to Governor Rakesh K Gupta, MY Taing, Rukhsana Jabeen, Zafar Iqbal Manhas, Satish Vimal, Bashir Baderawahi, Wali Mohd Aseer, Zahoor Peerzada, Bashir Assad, BN Betab, Mohd Rafi, Vimal Bazaz, Abdul Qayoom Wani and Mohd Amin Bhat were present. — TNS
