Chandigarh, February 13

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar administered the oath to retired IAS officer Hardeep Kumar as a member of the Right to Service Commission (RSC) here today.

With this, the number of members in the RSC has increased to five, including the Chief Commissioner.

Hardeep Kumar retired as Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works (Building and Roads) Department.

Interacting with mediapersons, the Chief Minister said the commission had a vacancy of a member which had now been filled .

About the Jat reservation agitation, the Chief Minister said the government committee talks with Jat leaders were going on.

Asked about the Cabinet meeting at Surajkund tomorrow, the Chief Minister said as most of the ministers would be present at the closing ceremony of the Surajkund International Crafts Mela, some formal agenda items would also be taken up.
