Chandigarh, March 8
The first public health Symposium on “Health Informatics: Challenges and Opportunities” organised by School of Public Health , PGIMER, Centre of Excellence, PEC University of Technology and CDAC Mohali concluded at PEC on Sunday.
Dr Neelam Prakash, co-chairperson of the symposium, spoke on improving quality of healthcare delivery at the grassroot level.
Dr Manoj Arora, PEC Director, also spoke on the occasion. Dr Rajesh Kumar, Head, School of Public Health (SPH), spoke on projects in the area of Health Informatics which the SPH had taken up.
Dr Parveen Kalra, Coordinator, Centre of Excellence, said PEC had initiated several projects in the area of healthcare.
