Hinduja couple visits Parmarth Niketan

Chairman of the Hinduja group of companies Ashok Hinduja performed the Ganga aarti in presence of Swami Chidanand Muni Maharaj at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram here today.

Accompanied by his wife Jyoti, Ashok Hinduja performed rituals at the Ganga ghat. Sanskrit students of Parmarth Gurukul along with Ganga Action Parivar head Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswati welcomed the corporate honcho.

Hinduja discussed with Chidanand Muni issues like environment, Ganga pollution, sanitation, hygiene and social projects being carried out by the Parmarth Niketan. He stressed the need for sanitation and hygiene and said these were necessary to achieve good health and make India a developed country in real terms. He also assured the Parmarth Niketan of cooperation in sanitation and constructing toilets for women in the state.

Chidanand Muni urged Hinduja to help in providing basic sanitation facilities to people as part of his corporate social responsibility. They also gave free blankets to saints, poor and needy people at the Ganga ghat.

Chidanand Muni gave a sapling of Kalp Vriksha to the Hinduja couple and said it was necessary to plant as many saplings as possible to protect the environment.
