Indian Military Academy continued winning streak at Sabhiki Cup 2018 presently underway in Dehradun. Sabhiki Cup is a sports meet for trainees of six premier Officer Training Academies of the country. It includes National Defence Academy (NDA) Khadakwasla, Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal, Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, and Officers’ Training Academy, Gaya.
In Wednesday’s events, IMA edged out NDA in football by 1-0. Similarly, IMA beat OTA, Gaya, in squash with the scoreline reading 3-0 in IMA’s favour. Further IMA blanked OTA Chennai 2-0 in tennis. IMA also won in hockey easing past NDA 8-4 in a one-sided match. The IMA then defeated AFA in basketball.
