INTUC for betterment of workers

INTUC president and former Rajya Sabha MP G Sanjeeva Reddy has called upon the INTUC members in the state to proactively work for the betterment of the working class.
Reddy, while addressing a convention of the party’s state unit in Dehradun today, said workers need to be more proactive in taking up the issues affecting the working class.
He accused the NDA government at the Centre of working in the interests of the capitalist forces.
He said INTUC had planned to take to streets against the Narendra Modi government’s pro-capitalist policies.
Home Minister Pritam Singh said INTUC would play a crucial role in ensuring the victory of the Congress in the Assembly elections in 2017.
INTUC state president Heera Singh Bisht referred to activities of the party in the state. “We have been facing the issues of the working class in the state from time to time,” he added.
INTUC members in large numbers attended the convention.
