The duo of Jyoti Gogai and Rishav Sharma (Assam) beat Mohd Sajid Ansari and Himanshu Bisht (Madhya Pradesh) (15-11, 15-7). Similarly, the pair of Sanjay and Prasanjit Shrodkar (Mah) defeated Lovel Khanduja and Sagar (Telangana ) (15-13,12-10) in the All-India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament doubles matches were played here today.
The pair of Nazeer A and Manaseh(TN) beat Bhuvan Kaushal and Prabhjot Singh (Chandigarh) (15-13,15-10). Qadir Moinudddin and Vishnuvardhan Goud (Telegana) beat Prashant R and Vishal Vasu (TN) (10-15,15-13,15-13). Anirudh Despanda and Nikhilshyam Sriram (Karnataka) beat Shivoy Kapoor and Udhav Sehgal(Punjab)(15-14,14-15,15-11)
Further, Tushar Sharma and Harsh Singh (UP) beat Abishek Borate and Ajwikya P Atharkar(Mah) (15-6,15-6).
GNFC beat Oak Grove School in basketball
Mussoorie: Guru Nanak Fifth Centenary School (GNFC) defeated Oak Grove School 12-9 in the third Invitational Inter-school Basketball Tournament here today.
In the second match, Waverly Convent School, Mussoorie, defeated The Asian School, Dehradun, 18-13.
In other matches, Jaswant Modern School, Dehradun, defeated Carman School 36-7; St Thomas College, Dehradun, defeated Tibetan Home School, Mussoorie, 15-7.
The last match was played between Wynberg-Allen and Mussoorie International School. Wynberg-Allen defeated the Mussoorie team 17-1.
Shigally Hills, Jaswant Modern School, St Thomas College, Ecole Globale, Dehradun, Woodstock School, Waverly Convent, GNFC and the host Wynberg-Allen, Mussoorie, have qualified for the next stage of super eight.
