Kids perform ‘Surya Namaskar’ at school sports festival

The three-day annual sports meet of The Poly Kids School, Dalanwala and Rajpur Road branch, concluded here today.

All students participated in different sports events. School chairman Capt. Mukul Mahendru opened the sports meet with lighting of a lamp at the Rajpur Road branch of the school. This was followed by a march past conducted by kids of Class I, II, III and IV. Drill was conducted by kids of nursery class. Depicting the Indian traditions, children of UKG class performed ‘Surya Namaskar’, children of Class II, III and IV performed different style of attack and self-defence in martial arts. Aerobics performance was given by LKG-Sunflower, kids of LKG-Daffodil performed Hawaiian Ball Dance, Japanese musical drill was performed by kids of Class 1, Peacock Dance was conducted by children of Class I, II and III and lot of races were conducted by students of both the branches.

The winners of Dalanwala branch— Playgroup(Ist) Prasoon & Shivang; Nursery-Mermaid(Ist) Kavya Butola; Nur-Aladdin(Ist) Shaksham & Tanisha Nur-Snowwhite(Ist); Aahil Ali, Nur-Mowgli (Ist); Saanvi, LKG-Sunflower(Ist); Namish, LKD-Daffodil(Ist); Jiya Dixit, UKG-Orchid(Ist); Jatin & Ronak, Class 1(Ist); Aditi & Ist-Sadhika Bartwal, Class 3 & 4(Ist); Harshita and Aishwarya.

The winners of Rajpur Road branch—Playgroup(Ist) Sahishnu Negi, Saanvi Goel; nursery girls(Ist) Vidhi Sharma, Saanvi Dobhal; nursery boys(Ist) Atharv Rana, Rithik Kapoor; LKG(Ist) Kalash Bangwal; UKG(Ist) Vedant Sain, Rabhya Parmar; Class 1(Ist) Rahul Nath, Class II (Ist) Shreyas Kumar; Class III(Ist) Atharv Baluni.

Capt. Mukul Mahendru, director Mrs Ranjana Mahendru, Mrs Nandita Singh, Mrs Geetika and Shobit, system coordinator Mrs Deepti Sethi and academic coordinator Mrs Divya Jain, headmistress Poonam Nigam and Mrs Priyanka Kohli and staff of The Poly Kids school were present on the occasion.
