Krystle clear!

Krystle D’Souza, who has essayed good roles in Kahe Na Kahe, Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, has now been roped-in to play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s fantasy thriller Brahamrakshas. She talks about it and more.

Why did you choose this show?

I was tired of the same saas-bahu family dramas that I was being offered, so I took a long break. However, this show is very different from the ones I have done earlier. So, I immediately said yes. Also, the show is a finite weekend series with 52 episodes and not a daily soap.

What do you think about the trend of supernatural shows?

I am glad such shows are being made. I think fantasy thrillers excite audiences as, inherently, people have a fascination for the unknown and the unexplained.

Have you ever had any supernatural experience?

Thankfully, I have not and I do not wish to either as I get scared easily. But I also believe that if you don’t trouble them, they don’t mess with you!

Are you superstitious?

I am not really superstitious, but do follow certain established norms.
