Pensioners can submit their life certificates and other certificates from June 1 after downloading the life certificate form available on himkosh.hp.nic.in and submit the same in any treasury of the district after getting it signed by a gazetted government servant, a spokesperson of the Finance Department said here today.
He said pensioners could also generate life certificate at NIC Centre, Treasuries or in Common Service Centre, where biometric devices were available by using Jeevan Pramaan portal at (jeevanpramaan.gov.in) and delivered to any treasury of the district.
The spokesman further said the pensioners should provide a copy of Aadhaar alongwith life certificate from http://himkosh.hp.nic. in with Aadhaar number with e-pension in case the pensioner is unable to get life certificate from the site for any reason.
He said the pensioners, after adopting these modes, need not visit the treasuries physically for verification in the subsequent years and they may visit the website jeevanpramaan.gov.in in future to biometrically authenticate themselves. He said verification by biometrics through Jeevan Pramaan would be valid for one year.
