Chandigarh, January 31

Mayor Poonam Sharma took stock of the construction work at the Mahila Bhawan, Sector 38, today.

She was accompanied by councillor Harjinder Kaur, chairperson of the Women Empowerment Committee, and other Municipal Corporation officials.

The mayor asked the MC engineers to complete the construction work before the occasion of Mahila Diwas in March so that the welfare activities of women could be initiated. — TNS
