Jammu, November 9
Brigadier Tathagata Chatterjee (in pic), a molecular hematologist, has assumed the command of Military Hospital at Satwari Cant.
Immediately after assuming the command, the Brigadier met senior officers of the hospital and interacted with them. Doctors at the hospital briefed him about the existing set-up, said officiating Defence spokesperson SN Acharya.
Brigadier Chatterjee said his main focus would be on the patient care and availability of medicines in the hospital.
He said extending facilities to ex-serviceman would also be a priority. The Brigadier also said the entire team of the hospital was available round the clock for the patients.
