Messages on Verka milk pouches

The message to come out and vote on February 4 has appeared on Verka milk packets as well. The message reads “4 February nu Vote Pao, Soojhvaan sarkaar banao.” (Vote on February 4, Make a wise government). This message has been printed on the packets under voter awareness SVEEP activities by the district administration. Residents who saw the messages on the packets were surprised to see the message. “I have seen such a message about public interest for the first time on a milk packet. This is an ingenious way to make the message of voting reach every household,” Inderjit Singh, a resident said. “The message will be printed on packets throughout the state and must go a long way in making every household aware about the voting day and will encourage people to vote,” Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Ravi Bhagat said.
