Minerva appoint Jose Carlos Hevia as coach

Minerva Punjab FC today appointed UEFA pro license coach Jose Carlos Hevia as their coach for the upcoming I-league.
Hevia had a successful stint with FC Pune City as technical director and head of grass roots development from 2014 to 2016. The Spaniard has been also credited with setting up of the FC Pune City Academy.
Earlier, the side had announced Colm Toal as its technical director.
The appointment of Hevia will give a professional touch to the club and will boost the confidence of the players, the club said in a statement here today.
Minerva Punjab FC will kick start its I-League campaign against fellow newcomers Chennai City FC at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on January 7.
