Minister supervises construction work at Khalsa College, Patiala
Patiala, September 15
Surjit Singh Rakhra, Minister of Higher Education, Languages and Water Sanitation, today supervised the construction work of the Campus for Research and Advanced Studies of Khalsa College, Patiala, spread in an area of 20 acres situated at Dhablan village of Patiala district.
In this campus, research and academic work of the subjects - science, agriculture, food processing, microbiology and biotechnology will be carried out.
Rakhra, while addressing the gathering, said this significant effort under the leadership of Jathedar Avtar Singh would help in making higher education valuable, job-oriented and globally competent and steer the youth towards the right direction.
He said such types of endeavours mark the academic progression of the college. — TNS
