Mobile ATM facility for paragliding participants

The State Bank of Patiala (SBoP) has extended additional facilities for the participants and visitors of the International Para Gliding World Cup Championship being held at Bir from October 24 to 31 at Bir Billing in Himachal.

Baboo Khan, general manager (GM), SBoP, told reporters here today that the bank had taken the initiative by making available a mobile ATM van at the site of the event.

It had also made available a foreign exchange counter for foreign visitors and participants.

The GM earlier visited the site to take stock of facilities being provided by the bank. He stressed the need for giving due importance to the event which could be taken as a symbol of pride for the state.

He told reporters that senior officers of the bank had been deputed at the site. He said in case of any difficulty, participants and visitors could approach a team of bank officials from 10 am to 5 pm.
