Mobile creches for labourers’ kids

Chandigarh: Labour and Employment Nayab Singh Saini has said that 22 mobile crèches or day care centres, 23 mobile toilets and four labour welfare centres have been opened to provide facility to the children of labourers working on construction sites in the state. The Minister said the facility has been provided near the construction sites to provide proper care and nutrition to these children. Arrangements are being done to run minimum two mobile crèches or day care centres on such sites, for which provision of Rs 10 crore has been made. These mobile crèches or day care centres have been started in Rewari, Mahendragarh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Panchkula, Hisar, Bhiwani, Jind and Sirsa districts. TNS
