The main three objectives of the programme are water conservation by introducing sustainable rainwater harvesting systems in remote HP villages falling within the route of the MTB race, teaching the importance of first aid and spreading awareness on cleaner and greener environment, a release issued here said.
Ninety riders from 15 countries, including Spain, Belgium, Portugal, US, Germany, UK and Nepal, would participate in the cycle race, which will be flagged off from Shimla on September 26.
