Munsiyari trails suitable for hill biking

The adventure of mountain trail biking thrilled locals as foreign trainers today crossed over 10 km tough and rugged terrain between Madkot and Munsiyari on bicycles that they had brought in for the sport.

The bikers crossed the zigzag terrain with grit and proved that Munsiyari Himalayas are ideal for mountain biking adventure. “We have decided to run mountain bikes in every trail in Munsiyari as all trails in the region are full of potential of mountain biking adventure,” said Sam Burgees, one of the seven trainers staying at Munsiyari these days.

They said once the survey work was completed on September 25, an international seminar on the possibility of mountain biking in the region would be organised next day. “We have explored every possibility of mountain biking trails in Munsiyari which we will share with common people at the seminar on September 26,” they said.
