The Art of Living (AOL), Jammu Chapter, organised a musical evening of divine and sufi music, ‘Sumeru Sandhya’, at Government Girls High School Auditorium, Gandhi Nagar, today. The concert was organised to raise funds for ‘Gift a Smile’ project to educate rural and tribal children.

Pertinently, the AOL is already running more than 420 schools in 20 states with a strength of more than 51,000 students.

The event started with the candle-lighting ceremony done by Vikram Gujral, member, North Apex. Other dignitaries and all teachers of J&K from the AOL were also present on the occasion.

All senior faculty, teachers, devotees and volunteers from all walks of life attended the event and enjoyed sufi music. Akshit Joshi performed on flute and guitar to mesmerise the audience. — TNS
