Mussoorie school ties up with Mahesh Bhupathi academy

Mussoorie International School (MIS) has tied up with the Mahesh Bhupathi Tennis Academy (MBTA) with an aim to provide high quality tennis coaching to its students. Principal of the school Priya Peter stated this at a press conference held here today.
Priya said the school had tied up with the MBTA to provide professional coaching to its students so that they could be groomed to take up the sport as a career option. She added the MBTA had conducted a one-week camp under the guidance of Aarti Natekar, a former India number one player and seven-time national champion, in the school.
Gaurav Natekar, a former India number one tennis player and CEO of the MBTA, said, “The aim of the academy is to nurture and groom young players in the age group of 4 to 9 years into professionals. Students will be trained under a structured programme and teams of singles and doubles players will be formed which will participate in tournaments at the school and higher levels.”
