Netaji Subhas-ICAR International Fellowships

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is inviting applications for a three-year fellowship for PhD in agriculture and allied sciences for 30 applicants.

Eligibility: Master’s degree in agriculture/allied sciences with an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) 6.60 out of 10.0 or 65% marks or equivalent will be the eligibility requirement for the NS-ICAR IFs.

Details: The fellows will be entitled to economy class return air ticket for international travel. Amount not exceeding $2,000 per month lump-sum payments towards contingent $ 1,000 per year.

The institutional bench fee prescribed by the Institute/University where the admission has been sought restricted to 25 per cent of the total amount will be reimbursed by the ICAR, while the remaining 75 per cent has to be borne by the candidate availing International Fellowships.

Colombo Plan Scholarship

University of Auckland is inviting applications for scholarship in engineering for pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Scholarships are open for the students who are citizens of Colombo Plan member countries, to study undergraduate or postgraduate engineering programmes at the University of Auckland.

Eligibility: The Scholarship will be awarded to a student who has paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or any postgraduate degree programme in the Faculty of Engineering.

The Scholarship may be concurrently held with any other award or grant as long as a) the terms of that award or grant permit and b) The University of Auckland Council is informed and approves.

How to apply: Applications should be submitted via post.
