North-Eastern Frontier win ITBP shooting title

Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force's North-Eastern Frontier bagged the top position in the 31st Inter-Frontier Shooting Championship at the Basic Training Centre in Bhanu.
With a tally of five gold, three silver and seven bronze medals, the North-eastern Frontier notched up a total of 1510 points.
The North-West Frontier and Eastern Frontier came in second and third, respectively.
Havildar Satveer Singh of Eastern Frontier was declared as the Best Shot in the revolver/pistol category while Constable Amit Prakash from Northern Frontier was declared as the Best Shot in the sub-machine gun category.
A total of 133 ITBP personnel from five frontiers competed in 13 events during the championships.
