NSD workshop on theatre design begins

A theatre workshop on design and techniques was inaugurated at the KL Saigal Hall here today.
The workshop is being organised by National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.
Balwant Thakur, Regional Director, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Jammu, presided over the event while Dogri writer and Convenor, Dogri, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, Prof Lalit Magotra was the chief guest.
Bapi Bose, camp director of the workshop, along with other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
Bose briefed the audience about the 20-day-long workshop.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Prof Ashok Sagar Bhagat form National School of Drama briefed the participants on the policies and schemes of the institute.
Ravinder Sharma, Shivam Singh,Sunil Sharma, Mohit Mehra, Sandeep Verma, Umesh Singh, Aditya Bharti, Shazia Batool, Shah-e-Jahan, Bilal Bhagat, Muzaffar Ahmed, Aparna Kapoor, Kanika Sharma, Rabiya Hayat Ansari, Sourav Raj Verma, Ankush Lakhootra, Rajat Gupta, Mridul Raj Anand, Ashish Sharma, Abhishek Bhatt, Vandana, Anchit Bakshi and Daizy Naqaib participated in the workshop.
