Dehradun, June 10
Cab aggregator Ola announced the launch of its app-based auto-rickshaw service in Dehradun. The auto service is available in 71 cities across the country.
Nitesh Prakash, Senior Director, Operations at Ola said, “Dehradun is developing at a fast pace and is the connecting point for tourist destinations in the region. Customers will now be able to book auto-rickshaws straight from the ‘Auto’ category on the Ola mobile application. They can track their rides and share their ride details in real-time on a live map with friends and family.”
Ravindra Jain, Ola auto driver-partner in Dehradun said, “I have been on Ola for a couple of weeks now and I have seen a steady increase in my daily income.”
Ola autos are available in Dehradun at just Rs 10 per km with a base fare of Rs 25 and a ride time charge of Re 1 per minute. The night charges will be 1.25 times the normal fare.
