She is popularly known as Ramola Sikand from Kaahin Kissii Roz, but actress Sudha Chandran feels there is more to her than that. Here she talks about her new show, titled Naagin, which has been directed by Ekta Kapoor...

What made you choose this show?

I wanted a good comeback vehicle and a show with Balaji was the best option. I have done a number of shows, but I really liked the concept of this one and the role that was offered to me.

How is it like to be working with Ekta again?

Ekta loves challenges and makes shows that are different. She has the guts to come out and try something new; she leads by example. When I work for Ekta, I feel recharged.

How is your rapport with your co-actors?

I know Mouni Roy, but I met Arjun Bijlani for the first time on the sets of the show. He and I share a fantastic bond. It is a pleasure working with these kids, as they are focused and fun to work with at the same time.

You have worked in multiple languages, southern languages included, which one do you enjoy the most?

Language is not a barrier for me. I know Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi too. I am comfortable in all languages.

Tell us about your role...

I have never done a show like this and my role is that of a religious character. She is a mother, who is quite possessive of her son. She is ready to do anything to protect him.
