One challaned at Daria, Burail villages

Food Safety Department officials led by Dr Rajinder Sharma inspected sweet shops and manufacturing units at Daria and Burail villages, here today. Two samples, one each of bikaneri burfi and dhoda burfi were taken.
One challan was issued for selling food items without a food licence. Two prohibition orders were issued to the food business operators.
It was brought to the notice of all shop owners and manufacturing units that were selling, storing stale food and unsafe food would be fined Rs 10 lakh and imprisonment upto seven years.
