A good mindset and focus on the target are the two essentials to make a great, life-like painting.
This was the view of artist Priya Monga. The venue was Hotel Mongas at Dalhousie where the exhibition of paintings of the artist was held yesterday for the first time. The theme of the exhibition was “The Evergreen Himachal”.
Hills of the Himalayas were very beautifully portrayed on canvas.
The main attractions of the exhibition were the hills and culture of Himachal, displayed artistically on canvas by the artist.
This is the first time that the work of the artist was displayed. There was a huge crowd of local residents, art lovers and tourists to visit the exhibition. Viewers appreciated her work. Besides, folk dancers dressed in traditional costumes entertained the guests with local songs and dance.
